AJM Pet Products have been a client of Westgate IT’s for over 15 years and we have a strong working relationship. 

In the summer of 2018, we received a call from our head contact informing us that their building was on fire.  For any business this would constitute a disaster situation, this case was no exception.  Even though the fire fighters were quick to respond the whole building was destroyed.  This included all workstations, servers and ICT equipment.

Following Westgate IT’s advice, AJM Pet Products had signed up for services that included Office 365  and Westgate IT’s Cloud Backup solution.  Within the space of 4 hours we managed to restore the backed up data to a Westgate IT loan server and set this up so it was accessible to AJM directly from our datacenter.  Our engineers then setup access to email via Office 365 and the server to allow their users to continue serving customers to the best of their ability.

Westgate IT’s Infrastructure and projects teams met the following day to firstly discuss replacing the destroyed equipment.  The way forward was agreed, and this was implemented working with AJM Pet Products throughout the process to ensure that the systems put in place were working with their third-party applications and any issues encountered were resolved swiftly.  This was a stressful time for AJM’s users and to help reduce this stress we ensured throughout this process they had a person they could contact 24/7 to assist.
